My favorite thing about that embroidered "lips"...

My second favorite thing is the built-in brass tie clip on the label.
First the Wonder Bread tie gets hit with a #Menswear tag, and now this? Seems like there’s a #Menswear editor who appreciates kitschy corporate-branded neckwear nearly as much as I do.

Brimfield was fun yesterday.
As I expected, there wasn’t so much vintage clothing to be found, at least in the fields & booths that I visited. Nevertheless I still managed to pick up:
5 vintage square-end cotton print Rooster ties
a Liberty archival floral print tie
a yard of vintage cotton plaid fabric, which I plan to use for an upcoming pocket square tutorial.

I will be visiting Brimfield, MA tomorrow.
For the uninitiated, it’s the site of the largest outdoor antiques show in New England. The July show begins tomorrow. It’ll be my first visit, so I’m not sure totally sure of what to expect, but I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled as always for vintage men’s accessories and textiles.
In any case, I’ll be taking lots of pictures and playing a game my traveling...
